Ingredients
- 1 kg Beef Boneless
- 80 g Soya Sauce
- 50 g Honey
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- - Rice Vinegar
- 100 g Til
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
- 100 g Cornflour
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the beef into bite-sized chunks and pat them dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, rice vinegar, black pepper, and chili flakes to create a marinade. Add the beef chunks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid, and toss them in cornstarch for a light coating.
- 3. Sear the beef chunks in the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- 4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining marinade along with honey. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- 5. Return the beef to the skillet and toss it in the honey glaze until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- 6. Transfer the honey glazed beef bites to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions. Serve hot and enjoy!
