Ingredients

  • 1 kg Beef Boneless
  • 80 g Soya Sauce
  • 50 g Honey
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
  • - Rice Vinegar
  • 100 g Til
  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder
  • 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
  • 100 g Cornflour
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the beef into bite-sized chunks and pat them dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, rice vinegar, black pepper, and chili flakes to create a marinade. Add the beef chunks to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the beef from the marinade, shaking off excess liquid, and toss them in cornstarch for a light coating.
  3. 3. Sear the beef chunks in the skillet, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the remaining marinade along with honey. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously, until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
  5. 5. Return the beef to the skillet and toss it in the honey glaze until evenly coated. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to let the flavors meld.
  6. 6. Transfer the honey glazed beef bites to a serving plate. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions. Serve hot and enjoy!
