Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
- - Coriander Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 25 g Kasuri Methi
- 50 g Black Pepper Powder
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- 2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Mix in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
- 3. Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil separates from the mixture.
- 4. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to blend the spices.
- 5. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is lightly browned.
- 6. Add the diced bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened. Sprinkle garam masala and crushed black pepper, and stir well.
- 7. Crush the kasuri methi between your palms and add it to the curry for enhanced flavor. Mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.
