Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Whole
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • 200G Adrak Lasun Paste (200g)
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 25 g Kasuri Methi
  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat the vegetable oil in a kadhai or deep pan over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. 2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until golden brown. Mix in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
  3. 3. Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oil separates from the mixture.
  4. 4. Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes to blend the spices.
  5. 5. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is lightly browned.
  6. 6. Add the diced bell pepper and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened. Sprinkle garam masala and crushed black pepper, and stir well.
  7. 7. Crush the kasuri methi between your palms and add it to the curry for enhanced flavor. Mix and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. 8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or steamed rice.
