Ingredients
- - Bay Leaf
- 500 ml Water
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- - KATDARE FARMAS EGGS CURRY MASALA 10GM
- 500 g Ghee
- - Onion
- 250 g Carrot
- 200 g Green Peas
- 250g Green Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Coriander Powder
- 10G Salt
- 250g Coriander
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat the rice cooker and add the ghee.
- Step 2: Once the ghee melts, sauté the cumin seeds and bay leaf until aromatic.
- Step 3: Add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown, then stir in the ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.
- Step 4: Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Cook until the tomatoes soften.
- Step 5: Add the diced carrot, green peas, and green chili (if using). Stir well to combine.
- Step 6: Drain the soaked rice and add it to the cooker. Mix gently with the vegetables.
- Step 7: Pour in 2 cups of water and season with salt. Close the rice cooker lid and cook until the rice is tender and the water is completely absorbed.
- Step 8: While the rice cooks, cut the hard-boiled eggs into halves and set aside.
- Step 9: Once the rice is done, gently fluff it with a fork and top with the boiled eggs.
- Step 10: Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
