Ingredients
- 1 bunch Spring Onion
- 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
- 1 pc Broccoli
- 1 kg Bell Peppers
- - Green Peas
- 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
- - Rice Vinegar
- 50 g Asafoetida Powder
- 100 g Til
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 100 g Cornflour
- 50 g Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, black pepper, and chili flakes to create the stir fry sauce.
- 2. Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add asafoetida to infuse flavor for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the tofu cubes to the pan and sauté until golden on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the pan and set aside.
- 4. In the same pan, add the broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas, and cabbage. Stir fry the vegetables on high heat for 4-5 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
- 5. Return the tofu to the pan and pour the prepared stir fry sauce over the mixture. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the tofu and vegetables.
- 6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the stir fry and mix gently. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped spring onion greens if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your garden-fresh tofu stir fry.
