Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
  • 1 pc Broccoli
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • - Green Peas
  • 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
  • - Rice Vinegar
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Til
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 100 g Cornflour
  • 50 g Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, cornstarch, black pepper, and chili flakes to create the stir fry sauce.
  2. 2. Heat sesame oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat. Add asafoetida to infuse flavor for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add the tofu cubes to the pan and sauté until golden on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the tofu from the pan and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same pan, add the broccoli, bell peppers, snap peas, and cabbage. Stir fry the vegetables on high heat for 4-5 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp.
  5. 5. Return the tofu to the pan and pour the prepared stir fry sauce over the mixture. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and evenly coats the tofu and vegetables.
  6. 6. Sprinkle sesame seeds over the stir fry and mix gently. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped spring onion greens if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your garden-fresh tofu stir fry.
