- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- - Chaat Masala
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- - Olive Oil
- 100 g Hing Khoda
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 400G Chtoura Foods Boiled Chickpeas In Brine
- 100 g Salt
- 250 g Cucumber
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 500 g Onion
- 50G Green Chilies
- 100 g Lemon
Instructions
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the boiled chickpeas, chopped cucumber, tomato, green bell pepper, cabbage, and fresh coriander leaves.
- 2. In a small pan, heat olive oil on medium heat and add hing (asafoetida). Stir for 20-30 seconds until aromatic, then remove from heat.
- 3. Add the roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt to the mixing bowl. Mix well to coat the vegetables and chickpeas evenly.
- 4. Pour the prepared hing-infused olive oil over the mixture and toss gently to incorporate the flavors.
- 5. Add the lemon juice and finely chopped green chili, then stir again to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
- 6. Taste and adjust salt or spices as needed. Serve the chickpea chaat in individual bowls, garnished with extra coriander leaves for freshness.
