Fragrant Paneer Harvest Pulao recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 200 g Green Peas
  • - Bay Leaf
  • 150 Gms Cloves
  • - Cardamom
  • - Onion
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 75 G Cinnamon Stick/ Dal Chini 75 Grams
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Coriander Powder
  • 100g Garam Masala
  • 10G Salt
  • 500 g Ghee
  • 250g Coriander

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a deep pan. Add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cumin seeds. Sauté until fragrant.
  2. Step 2: Add the sliced onions and cook until golden brown. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Add the chopped carrots, green beans, and green peas. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Step 4: Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  5. Step 5: Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan. Stir gently to coat the rice with the spices.
  6. Step 6: Pour in 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover with a lid and cook for 12-15 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is absorbed.
  7. Step 7: While the rice cooks, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of ghee in a small pan. Add the paneer cubes and lightly fry until golden on the edges. Set aside.
  8. Step 8: Once the rice is cooked, gently fluff it with a fork. Add the fried paneer cubes and garam masala. Mix gently.
  9. Step 9: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
