Ingredients

  • 50 g Black Pepper Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 100 g Unsalted Butter
  • - Olive Oil
  • 500 g Refined Flour
  • 50 g Parsley Leaves

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the trout fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
  2. 2. Coat each fillet lightly with all-purpose flour, shaking off any excess to ensure a thin, even layer.
  3. 3. Heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Once the butter has melted and starts to bubble, add the trout fillets skin-side down.
  4. 4. Cook the fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn golden brown and crispy. Remove them from the pan and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
  5. 5. In the same pan, add the remaining butter and sauté the seasonal vegetables for 4-5 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.
  6. 6. Arrange the cooked trout fillets on serving plates, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges and sautéed vegetables on the side.
