  • 100 g Coriander Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Black Pepper
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 10G Salt
  • 500 g Rice

Instructions

  1. Step 1: To prepare the Fish Moilee, heat coconut oil in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Step 2: Add ginger, garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves. Stir for 30 seconds until aromatic.
  3. Step 3: Mix in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Step 4: Add the fish fillets and gently coat them with the spice blend. Pour water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Add coconut milk and adjust salt. Simmer gently (do not boil) for another 7 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
  6. Step 6: For the Coconut Neer Dosas, blend soaked rice and grated coconut with water to form a thin, smooth batter. Add salt as needed.
  7. Step 7: Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and grease lightly. Pour a ladle of batter and swirl to create a thin, lacey dosa. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Repeat for remaining batter.
  8. Step 8: Serve the Fish Moilee with warm Coconut Neer Dosas for a complete, authentic South Indian meal.
