Ingredients
- 250 ml Coconut Milk
- 500 ml Water
- - Grated Coconut
- 25G Fisherman'S Friend Sugar Free Mouth Freshener - Lemon (25g)
- 250g Ginger
- 250g Garlic
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Onion
- 20G Curry Leaves
- 100 g Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Black Pepper
- - Coconut Oil
- 10G Salt
- 500 g Rice
Instructions
- Step 1: To prepare the Fish Moilee, heat coconut oil in a pan. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Step 2: Add ginger, garlic, green chilies, and curry leaves. Stir for 30 seconds until aromatic.
- Step 3: Mix in turmeric powder, coriander powder, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute.
- Step 4: Add the fish fillets and gently coat them with the spice blend. Pour water and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 5: Add coconut milk and adjust salt. Simmer gently (do not boil) for another 7 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Step 6: For the Coconut Neer Dosas, blend soaked rice and grated coconut with water to form a thin, smooth batter. Add salt as needed.
- Step 7: Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and grease lightly. Pour a ladle of batter and swirl to create a thin, lacey dosa. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Repeat for remaining batter.
