- 250 Gms Poppy Seeds
- - Mustard Seeds
- Pcs Chings Masala Chicken Chilli
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 250g Green Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 10G Salt
- 500 G Sugar
- 250g Garlic
Instructions
- Step 1: Grind the soaked poppy seeds into a smooth paste using a blender.
- Step 2: In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with the poppy seed paste, mustard oil, turmeric powder, salt, sugar, garlic, and green chilies. Ensure the chicken is well-coated.
- Step 3: Lightly toast the banana leaves over an open flame to make them pliable.
- Step 4: Place a portion of the chicken mixture onto each banana leaf square and fold it tightly into a parcel. Secure with kitchen twine if necessary.
- Step 5: Heat a flat pan or tawa on medium heat and drizzle a little mustard oil.
- Step 6: Place the parcels on the pan and cook each side for 10-12 minutes, ensuring the chicken cooks through and the leaves impart their smoky aroma.
- Step 7: Open the parcels and serve hot with steamed rice or luchi for an authentic Bengali breakfast.
