A rich and creamy paneer tikka masala paired with fragrant jeera rice, perfect for a satisfying vegetarian dinner.
Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- Pcs Epi Yogurt Mango
- 200 g Cream
- - Bay Leaf
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100g Garam Masala
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Puree
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 10G Salt
- 250g Coriander
- 250g Green Chilli
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the marinade by mixing yogurt, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala. Coat the paneer cubes in the marinade and let them sit for 20 minutes.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a skillet and pan-fry the marinated paneer cubes until golden on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of oil and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add tomato puree, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.
- Step 4: Stir in cream, green chilies, and cooked paneer cubes. Simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
- Step 5: For the jeera rice, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pot and sauté cumin seeds, bay leaf, and cardamom pods until aromatic. Add rinsed basmati rice and 300 ml of water. Season with salt.
- Step 6: Cover and cook the rice on low heat until fully done, about 15 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork.
- Step 7: Serve the paneer tikka masala hot with jeera rice on the side.
