Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 250 Gms Poppy Seeds
- 500 ml Water
- 1Kg Potato
- 250g Green Chilli
- 250g Ginger
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 500 G Sugar
- 10G Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 250g Coriander
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat mustard oil in a pan until it reaches its smoking point, then lower the heat.
- Step 2: Add cumin seeds to the hot oil and let them splutter.
- Step 3: Add the potato cubes and sauté for 5-6 minutes until lightly golden. Sprinkle turmeric powder and mix well.
- Step 4: Add the poppy seed paste, grated ginger, and slit green chilies. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the oil starts to separate.
- Step 5: Add paneer cubes, red chili powder, sugar, and salt. Mix gently to coat the paneer without breaking it.
- Step 6: Add water and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked and the curry has a slightly thick consistency.
- Step 7: Adjust seasoning, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot.
