  • - Green Peas
  • - Tandoori Seasoning 50g
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 50 g Asafoetida Powder
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes, then squeeze out excess water and marinate with curd, tandoori masala, and a pinch of salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Dry roast the semolina in a pan on medium heat until it turns light golden and aromatic. Set it aside.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and asafoetida. Let them crackle for a few seconds.
  4. 4. Add the chopped tomato, capsicum, and green peas to the pan. Sprinkle turmeric powder and red chili powder, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly soft.
  5. 5. Add the marinated soya chunks to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until they are well-coated and cooked through.
  6. 6. Stir in the roasted semolina and mix well with the vegetables and soya chunks.
  7. 7. Gradually add hot water (as needed) to the pan while stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes until the semolina absorbs the water and reaches a fluffy consistency.
  8. 8. Season with salt to taste, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and serve hot.
