Ingredients
- Pcs Epi Yogurt Mango
- - Lemon Juice
- 500 ml Water
- 250g Garlic
- 250g Ginger
- 100 g Coriander Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100g Garam Masala
- - Red Chilli
- 250g Coriander
- - Spearmint Leaves | Dried & Fragrant | For Teas, Detox Water & Spice Blends | Natural & Refreshing
- 10G Salt
Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, mix ground lamb with garlic, ginger, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, Kashmiri red chili powder, garam masala, mint leaves, and coriander leaves. Add 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and salt, then knead the mixture well. Shape into oval koftas and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a grill pan. Sear the lamb koftas on medium heat until well browned on all sides and cooked through, approximately 8-10 minutes. Set aside and keep warm.
- Step 3: Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a deep pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Add tomatoes, minced garlic, grated ginger, and remaining spices. Cook until the mixture forms a thick paste.
- Step 4: Stir in bulgur wheat and mix well with the paste. Add the boiled water, cover, and cook on low heat for 15 minutes or until the bulgur is tender and fluffy.
- Step 5: Combine whisked yogurt with mint leaves, a pinch of salt, and a squeeze of lemon in a small bowl to make a quick yogurt sauce.
- Step 6: Serve the lamb koftas on a bed of spiced bulgur pilaf, drizzled with the yogurt sauce. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
