  • 100G Cashews
  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 250g Garlic
  • 250g Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 250g Coriander

  • 50 Grms Red Chili Powder Handmade Spices 50 Grms
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Coriander Powder
  • 100g Garam Masala
  • 500 g Ghee
  • 10G Salt

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Prepare the lamb kofta by mixing lamb mince, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, minced garlic, grated ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves, and salt. Shape into small meatballs and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a deep pan, fry the lamb koftas until golden brown, and then remove them onto a plate.
  3. Step 3: In the same pan, add 2 more tablespoons of ghee. Temper with the whole spices, then add onions and sauté until golden brown.
  4. Step 4: Add the tomato puree, turmeric powder, remaining chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the mixture releases oil. Stir in the yogurt and garam masala.
  5. Step 5: Layer the soaked basmati rice over the masala mixture. Place the lamb koftas on top. Pour 400 ml water, sprinkle saffron milk, and adjust salt to taste.
  6. Step 6: Cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes or until the rice is fully cooked and fluffy. Garnish with fried cashews and remaining coriander leaves before serving.
