  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 100g Garam Masala
  • 10G Salt
  • - Cumin Seed
  • 1 l Soyabean Oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves, and green chillies. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  2. Step 2: Add chopped onions. Cook until golden brown.
  3. Step 3: Add garlic, ginger, and tomatoes. Sauté until tomatoes soften completely.
  4. Step 4: Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Cook for 1-2 minutes to toast the spices.
  5. Step 5: Add chicken pieces and stir well, ensuring the chicken gets coated with spices. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Add water and cover the skillet. Simmer on medium heat for 20 minutes or until chicken is tender and sauce thickens. Stir occasionally.
  7. Step 7: Once done, sprinkle garam masala and fresh cilantro. Mix well and cook for an additional minute.
  8. Step 8: For jeera rice, heat 1 tablespoon oil in the rice cooker. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 30 seconds.
  9. Step 9: Add soaked rice, salt, and required water (usually 1:2 ratio for rice to water). Cook rice in the rice cooker until fluffy.
  10. Step 10: Plate the chicken sukka beside the jeera rice and serve warm.
