About this recipe

A delightful pescatarian dinner featuring succulent king prawns, smoky mackerel, and tender green beans in a garlicky, spiced broth. Perfect for a satisfying and healthy evening meal.

Ingredients

  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 100 g Asparagus
  • 100 ml Oleev Olivana Natural Olive Oil (Bottle)
  • 1 pack (52 g) Orika Red Chilli Flakes
  • 200 g Urban Platter Vegetable Bouillon And Broth Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Skip this step as there is no mackerel to prepare.
  2. 2. Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Add the garlic and asparagus, cooking for 3-5 minutes until the asparagus starts to soften.
  3. 3. Skip this step as there is no mackerel to microwave.
  4. 4. Add 1/4 pint of water and the vegetable bouillon powder to the frying pan with the asparagus. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the asparagus are tender but still slightly crisp.
  5. 5. Remove the asparagus from the pan, leaving the liquid behind. Stir in the chili flakes to the pan and simmer for 2-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, to infuse the broth with spice.
  6. 6. To serve, place the asparagus on a plate. Spoon the garlicky, spiced broth over the top. Enjoy your delicious pescatarian supper!
