Ingredients

  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Hing Khoda
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1 liter Sunflower Oil
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 500g Swad Roasted Rice Powder 500g

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 4-5 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Drain the soaked dal and blend it into a smooth batter using minimal water; ensure the consistency is medium-thick.
  3. 3. Transfer the batter to a mixing bowl and add chopped green chilies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, hing, turmeric powder, red chili powder, rice flour, and salt; mix well.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat and lightly grease it with a few drops of oil.
  5. 5. Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it evenly in a circular motion to form a thin pancake.
  6. 6. Cook the chilla for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes.
