Ingredients

  • 6 pcs White Eggs
  • 200 g Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • - Dairy Milk
  • - Vanilla Essence
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 20 g Cinnamon
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Tropical Sun Evaporated Milk

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Place a large roasting pan in the oven and fill it halfway with hot water to create a water bath for the flan.
  2. 2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the granulated sugar while stirring constantly until it becomes a deep amber caramel. Quickly pour the caramel into the bottom of a 9-inch round baking dish, tilting the dish to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside to cool and harden.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, protein powder, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until smooth and fully combined.
  4. 4. Pour the mixture gently over the hardened caramel in the baking dish. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
  5. 5. Carefully place the baking dish in the preheated water bath in the oven. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the flan is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. 6. Remove the flan from the oven and water bath. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set.
  7. 7. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan to loosen it from the dish. Place a serving plate over the dish and invert to release the flan, allowing the caramelized topping to flow over the surface.
