Ingredients
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 200 g Sweetened Condensed Milk
- - Dairy Milk
- - Vanilla Essence
- 500 g Sugar
- 20 g Cinnamon
- 100 g Salt
- - Tropical Sun Evaporated Milk
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F). Place a large roasting pan in the oven and fill it halfway with hot water to create a water bath for the flan.
- 2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the granulated sugar while stirring constantly until it becomes a deep amber caramel. Quickly pour the caramel into the bottom of a 9-inch round baking dish, tilting the dish to coat the bottom evenly. Set aside to cool and harden.
- 3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, protein powder, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until smooth and fully combined.
- 4. Pour the mixture gently over the hardened caramel in the baking dish. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- 5. Carefully place the baking dish in the preheated water bath in the oven. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the flan is set but still slightly jiggly in the center.
- 6. Remove the flan from the oven and water bath. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to fully set.
- 7. To serve, run a knife around the edges of the flan to loosen it from the dish. Place a serving plate over the dish and invert to release the flan, allowing the caramelized topping to flow over the surface.
