Ingredients

  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
  • 250 g Jasmine Rice

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear, then cook it in a pot with 300 ml of water until fluffy.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat and sauté the garlic and ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Add the prawns to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked through.
  4. 4. Remove the prawns and set aside, then add the broccoli and red bell pepper to the same skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. 5. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water to create a smooth sauce.
  6. 6. Pour the sauce into the skillet with the vegetables and stir well until the sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Return the cooked prawns to the skillet and toss to coat them evenly in the sauce.
  8. 8. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste, and sprinkle chopped spring onions on top.
  9. 9. Serve the zesty garlic prawn stir-fry hot over a bed of steamed jasmine rice.
