Ingredients
- - Basil Leaves
- 307 g Morinaga Firm Tofu
- 1 head Cauliflower
- 100 g Garlic
- 10 g Kaffir Lime Leaves (Makroot)
- 1 kg Rice
- 1 ltr Pansari Tilsari Edible Vegetable Oil
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 100 g Salt
- 50 g Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Cut the firm tofu into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
- 2. Grate the cauliflower to create rice-sized granules using a box grater or food processor.
- 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan and sauté the grated cauliflower with a pinch of salt for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4. In a separate pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and fry the cubed tofu until golden brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- 5. Mince the garlic and slice the red chilies thinly, then add them to the same pan used for tofu and sauté for 1 minute.
- 6. Add soy sauce, black pepper, and torn kaffir lime leaves to the pan, stirring to combine the flavors.
- 7. Return the tofu to the pan and toss with the sauce mixture to coat evenly.
- 8. Add fresh basil leaves and stir gently to wilt them slightly, infusing the dish with their aroma.
- 9. Serve the tofu stir-fry over the warm cauliflower rice for a complete Thai-inspired meal.
