  • 10 g Kaffir Lime Leaves (Makroot)
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 1 ltr Pansari Tilsari Edible Vegetable Oil
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 100 g Salt
  • 50 g Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the firm tofu into bite-sized cubes and set aside.
  2. 2. Grate the cauliflower to create rice-sized granules using a box grater or food processor.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan and sauté the grated cauliflower with a pinch of salt for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. In a separate pan, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and fry the cubed tofu until golden brown on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  5. 5. Mince the garlic and slice the red chilies thinly, then add them to the same pan used for tofu and sauté for 1 minute.
  6. 6. Add soy sauce, black pepper, and torn kaffir lime leaves to the pan, stirring to combine the flavors.
  7. 7. Return the tofu to the pan and toss with the sauce mixture to coat evenly.
  8. 8. Add fresh basil leaves and stir gently to wilt them slightly, infusing the dish with their aroma.
  9. 9. Serve the tofu stir-fry over the warm cauliflower rice for a complete Thai-inspired meal.
