Ingredients

  • 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
  • 100 g Tamarind Paste
  • 250 g Jasmine Rice

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the fish fillets and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix tamarind pulp, soy sauce, honey, red chili flakes, and grated ginger to make the glaze.
  3. 3. Coat the fish fillets evenly with rice flour, ensuring a thin, uniform layer.
  4. 4. Heat 2 tbsp of canola oil in a pan over medium heat and pan-fry the fish until golden brown on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  5. 5. In the same pan, add the prepared tamarind glaze and cook it for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
