- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 250 g Spinach
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 1 bunch Thai Basil
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Jeera Powder
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Heat cooking oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add asafoetida and turmeric powder, stirring briefly to release the aroma.
- 2. Add diced capsicum, shredded cabbage, and spinach to the pot. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables soften slightly.
- 3. Stir in the cooked yellow moong dal, diced tomato, ground cumin, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- 4. Add coconut milk and soy sauce to the pot. Stir until fully incorporated, creating a creamy base.
