  • 2 Pieces Red & Yellow Bell Pepper - Protected Cultivation
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 250 g Mirchi Powder (Bedagi)
  • 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
  • 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
  • 750 ml Catch Clear Lemon N Lime Flavoured Water

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 egg, 1 tsp mirchi powder, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 2 tbsp tomato paste. Mix until well combined.
  3. 3. Shape the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. 4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp mustard oil. Brown the balls on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove the balls from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add 1 diced sambar onion, 1 diced bell pepper, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 5 minutes until softened.
  6. 6. Stir in 2 tbsp tomato paste and 1/2 cup water, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Bring to a simmer.
  7. 7. Return the balls to the skillet, nestling them into the sauce. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the balls are fully cooked.
  8. 8. Serve the balls hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
