- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 400 g Pastazara Peeled Tomatoes In Tomato Juice
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 5 kg Madhur Sugar M30
- 2 x 170 ml Masterchow White Vinegar - Pack Of 2
- 1 kg Simply Staples Mineral Rich Sea Salt
Instructions
- 1. Finely chop 3 onions, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 1/2 peeled ripe tomatoes, and 1/2 cup of green pepper.
- 2. In a large pot, combine the chopped onions, garlic, tomatoes, green pepper, 1/3 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons sea salt, and 1 1/2 cups vinegar.
- 3. Heat the mixture gradually over medium heat until it reaches a boil, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 4. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for at least 4 hours, stirring occasionally, until it reaches your desired consistency.
- 5. Once the salsa is ready, pour it into sterilized jars while still hot, leaving some headspace. Seal the jars tightly.
- 6. Process the sealed jars in a boiling water bath for 5 minutes to ensure proper preservation.
- 7. Allow the jars to cool completely before storing. Serve the salsa as a dip, topping, or side dish for dinner.
