Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Prawns Small Shrimps
  • 6 pcs White Eggs
  • - Dairy Milk
  • - Vanilla Essence
  • 1 Kg Sarwarpanko Breadcrumbs
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • - Olive Oil
  • 100 g Unsalted Butter
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 50 g Cinnamon Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 500 g Refined Flour
  • 100 g Icing Sugar
  • 30 g Smoked Paprika Powder
  • 100 g Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F). Lightly grease small ramekins with butter and set aside.
  2. 2. Marinate the shrimp with lime juice, paprika, chili powder, and salt. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
  4. 4. In another bowl, mix flour, breadcrumbs, cinnamon powder, and a pinch of powdered sugar.
  5. 5. Coat the marinated shrimp in the dry mixture. Heat olive oil in a pan, fry the coated shrimp until golden and crispy, then set aside.
  6. 6. Place a few fried shrimp in each greased ramekin. Carefully pour the egg and milk mixture over the shrimp, filling each ramekin about three-quarters full.
  7. 7. Place the ramekins in a water bath and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the flan is set and slightly golden on top.
  8. 8. Let the flans cool for 5 minutes before running a knife around the edges to loosen them. Carefully invert onto serving plates.
  9. 9. Sprinkle the tops with powdered sugar and a dash of cinnamon for garnish. Serve warm or at room temperature, and enjoy your unique spicy dessert!
