Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
- 200 ml Sesame Oil
- - Rice Vinegar
- 320 g Puff Pastry Sheet
- 100 g Til
- 250g Green Chilli
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
- 500 g Brown Sugar
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to create a smooth marinade.
- 3. Heat 2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and fully cooked. Stir in the prepared marinade and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the mixture thickens and coats the beef evenly. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 4. Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut them into 8 equal squares. Place each square into a muffin tin, pressing gently to form a tartlet shell. Trim any excess pastry edges.
- 5. Fill each tartlet shell with a generous spoonful of the caramelized beef mixture. Brush the edges of the pastry with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- 6. Bake the tartlets in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
- 7. Remove the tartlets from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with sesame seeds, finely sliced scallions, and a sprinkle of green chili for added heat.
- 8. Serve warm and enjoy the spicy, savory flavors in every bite.
