- 150 g Spring Onion (Kandychi Path)
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 1 pack (100 g) Nutraj Classic Safed Til | Sesame Seeds | Natural
- 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
Instructions
- 1. Thinly slice 1 lb of spring onion and set aside.
- 2. In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp sesame seeds, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, and 3 minced garlic cloves to create the marinade.
- 3. Add the sliced spring onion to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are coated. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes.
- 4. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated spring onion and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the spring onion is slightly caramelized.
- 5. Slice 3 green onions and sprinkle them over the cooked spring onion. Stir briefly to combine.
- 6. Serve the spring onion hot with steamed rice or your choice of side dishes.
