- 300 g Nutrich Chicken Thigh Boneless
- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 100 g Whole Farm Premium White Sesame Seeds
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 100 g Dabur Honey
- loose Ginger
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
- 2. In a saucepan, combine rinsed rice, 350 ml water, and a pinch of salt. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes until the rice is tender.
- 3. While the rice cooks, mince the garlic and chop the spring onions finely for the garnish.
- 4. Heat 10 ml sesame oil in a pan, add garlic, and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- 5. Add chicken thighs to the pan and cook on medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- 6. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, ginger powder, and black pepper to create a glaze.
- 7. Pour the soy-honey glaze over the chicken and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken.
- 8. In a separate small pan, toast sesame seeds over low heat for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- 9. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and drizzle with the remaining sesame oil. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the rice.
