Ingredients

  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • - Chicken Breast
  • 250 g Cucumber
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 500 Ml Champion Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Start by preparing the chicken. In a bowl, marinate 500g of chicken breast with 1 tablespoon of gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes), 1 tablespoon of Champion Oil, and a pinch of table salt. Mix well to coat the chicken evenly. Let it marinate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  2. 2. While the chicken is marinating, wash 500g of fresh hybrid tomatoes and one cucumber thoroughly under running water. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
  3. 3. Chop the tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and slice the cucumber thinly. Place the chopped tomatoes and sliced cucumber in a large mixing bowl.
  4. 4. Heat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken breast for 6–8 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). The chicken should be nicely charred on the outside. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before dicing into bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of Champion Oil over the vegetables in the mixing bowl and gently toss them to ensure they are evenly coated.
  6. 6. Add a pinch of black salt (kala namak) to the vegetable mixture, adjusting the quantity to taste. Be cautious, as black salt has a strong flavor and can easily overpower the dish.
  7. 7. Add the diced chicken to the vegetable mixture and toss everything together gently so the ingredients are well combined.
  8. 8. Sprinkle a pinch of the oregano-herbs mix over the salad for added flavor. Optionally, garnish with additional gochugaru for an extra kick.
  9. 9. Serve immediately and enjoy your Gochugaru Chicken Salad!
