Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 2 pcs Zucchini
  • 1 bunch Spring Onion
  • 1 kg Bell Peppers
  • 200 g Organic Tofu - Soy Paneer
  • 500g Gochujang (Korean Chili Paste)
  • 200 ml Sesame Oil
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce
  • 500 G Sugar

Instructions

  1. 1. Press 300g of firm tofu to remove excess moisture. Cut into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp gochujang paste, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, and 1 tsp sugar. Set aside.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Sauté 1 sliced bell pepper, 1 sliced zucchini, and 1 sliced carrot for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  5. 5. Return the tofu to the skillet and pour the prepared sauce over the tofu and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
  6. 6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and clings to the tofu and vegetables.
  7. 7. Garnish with 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds and 1 chopped spring onion. Serve hot with steamed rice.
