Soy-Glazed Salmon with Lemon and Parsley recipe

About this recipe

A flavorful pescatarian dinner featuring tender salmon glazed with a tangy soy and apple juice reduction, complemented by fresh parsley and a hint of lemon.

Ingredients

  • 25 g Parsley
  • 1 ltr Real Fruit Power Apple Juice 1 L
  • 125 g Mooz Butter Garlic & Herbes
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 175 g Lemon - Imported
  • 120 g Golden Prize Pink Salmon Fillet In Oil
  • 900 G Kikkoman Naturally Brewed Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup apple juice and 6 tablespoons soy sauce. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
  2. 2. Add 2 tablespoons butter and 1 minced garlic clove to the saucepan. Stir occasionally and continue cooking until the liquid thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. 3. Remove the glaze from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  4. 4. Pat 2 salmon fillets (about 500 g total) dry with paper towels and place them skin-side down on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.
  5. 5. Brush the cooled glaze evenly over the salmon fillets and let them stand at room temperature for 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  6. 6. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the salmon for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  7. 7. Garnish the baked salmon with 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon slices on the side.
