Ingredients
- 180 g Cambay Tiger Fresh Prawns
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 10 pcs Prawns
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 100 g Dabur Honey
- 500 g Weikfield Cornstarch Amazingly Versatile Gluten Free
- loose Ginger
- - Rock Salt
- - KATDARE BLACK PEPPER POWDER 12GM
- - Red Chilli
- 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
- 2. In a medium-sized pot, add the rinsed rice, 300 ml of water, and 0.5 tsp of rock salt. Cover and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes.
- 3. While the rice cooks, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- 4. Once the garlic is golden, mix it into the cooked rice, fluffing gently with a fork. Keep the rice warm.
- 5. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and 2 tbsp of water to create a smooth glaze mixture.
- 6. Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and 1 tbsp of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- 7. Add the remaining minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, stirring until aromatic, about 30 seconds.
- 8. Toss in the prawns and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and are almost cooked through.
- 9. Pour the prepared soy glaze over the prawns, stirring to coat them evenly. Let the sauce thicken for 1-2 minutes.
- 10. Sprinkle black pepper powder and chili flakes over the prawns, adjusting to your spice preference.
- 11. Garnish the prawns with chopped green onions and give them a final stir before removing from heat.
