Ingredients
- 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Til
- 50 g White Sesame Seeds
- 80 g Soya Sauce
- - Rice Vinegar
- 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
- 500 g Capsicum Green
- - Dry Red Chillies
- 100 g Lemon
- 50 g Honey
- 250 g Cucumber
- 1 liter Sunflower Oil
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Pat the tuna steak dry and season lightly with salt. Mix the black and white sesame seeds in a shallow plate and coat the tuna evenly by pressing it into the seeds.
- 2. Heat the vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the sesame-coated tuna in the pan and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until the sesame seeds are golden and the tuna is cooked to your preference. Remove from heat and let it rest.
- 3. In a small bowl, prepare the dressing by whisking together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, and chopped red chili. Adjust the salt to taste.
- 4. Assemble the salad by combining julienned green bell pepper, sliced cucumber, shredded cabbage, and fresh coriander in a large bowl. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the vegetables and toss to coat evenly.
- 5. Slice the seared tuna into thin strips and arrange them on top of the salad. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately for a refreshing, protein-packed meal.
