Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Kg Indian Salmon (Rawas) Fish
  • - Matcha Powder
  • 50 g Honey
  • - Rice Vinegar
  • 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
  • 100 g Til
  • 1 l Rice Bran Oil
  • 80 g Soya Sauce
  • 50 g Black Pepper
  • 100 g Cornflour

Instructions

  1. 1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season them lightly with black pepper on both sides. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tsp of water to create a slurry and set it aside.
  2. 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the matcha powder, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes until smooth. Add the cornstarch slurry to the mixture and whisk again.
  3. 3. Heat the neutral oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook the other side for another 3 minutes.
  4. 4. Reduce the heat to low and pour the matcha honey glaze over the salmon. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fillets, until the sauce thickens and coats the salmon evenly.
  5. 5. Transfer the salmon to a serving plate and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately for a flavorful and elegant meal.
