Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1 Kg Indian Salmon (Rawas) Fish
- - Matcha Powder
- 50 g Honey
- - Rice Vinegar
- 500Ml Habit Toasted Sesame Oil Cold Presses
- 100 g Til
- 1 l Rice Bran Oil
- 80 g Soya Sauce
- 50 g Black Pepper
- 100 g Cornflour
Instructions
- 1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season them lightly with black pepper on both sides. Mix the cornstarch with 2 tsp of water to create a slurry and set it aside.
- 2. In a small bowl, whisk together the matcha powder, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes until smooth. Add the cornstarch slurry to the mixture and whisk again.
- 3. Heat the neutral oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip and cook the other side for another 3 minutes.
- 4. Reduce the heat to low and pour the matcha honey glaze over the salmon. Simmer for 2-3 minutes, spooning the glaze over the fillets, until the sauce thickens and coats the salmon evenly.
- 5. Transfer the salmon to a serving plate and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and fresh coriander leaves. Serve immediately for a flavorful and elegant meal.
