Ingredients
- 125 g Cremini Mushroom
- 1 ltr Mother Dairy Toned Milk
- 50 g The Select Aisle Bread Crumbs
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 100 g Old Hill Parmesan Cheese
- 100 ml Oleev Olivana Natural Olive Oil (Bottle)
- 1 kg Supreme Harvest Iodized Salt
- 75 g On1Y Whole Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion and sauté until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- 3. Dip 1/4 cup of sliced mushrooms in 1/4 cup of milk, then coat them with a mixture of 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and a pinch of pepper.
- 4. In the same skillet, quickly brown the breaded mushrooms on both sides, about 1-2 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and place them in a baking dish.
- 5. Add 1 cup of tomato sauce to the skillet and heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally to combine the flavors.
- 6. Pour the heated tomato sauce over the mushrooms in the baking dish, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 7. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- 8. Remove the dish from the oven, uncover, and sprinkle 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- 9. Let the dish stand, covered, for 5 minutes to allow the cheese to melt before serving.
