  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 unit Celery
  • 500Ml Gaia Extra Virgin Olive Oil (500ml)
  • 20 g Oregano
  • - Thyme Leaves
  • 60G Primi Piatti Red Chilli Flakes
  • 400G Safa Tomato Paste (400g)
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Hing Khoda
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 30 g Smoked Paprika Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 50 g Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the lentils thoroughly under running water and soak them for 20 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and hing, allowing them to sizzle for 30 seconds to release their aroma.
  3. 3. Stir in diced bell pepper, chopped celery, and smoked paprika. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables soften and start to caramelize.
  4. 4. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and the tomatoes break down.
