Ingredients

  • 25 g Parsley
  • 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 100 g Celery Stalk
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 2 ltr Figaro Extra Light Olive Oil
  • 1 pack (50 g) On1Y Clove Whole. Laung-Lavang Sabut Khade Masale
  • 200 g Hommade Tomato Puree
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 50 g Black Pepper
  • 50 g Zoff Premium Indian Bay Leaf

Instructions

  1. 1. Dice 1 green pepper, 1 onion, and 2 stalks of celery into small pieces.
  2. 2. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. 3. Add the diced green pepper, onion, celery, and 2 minced cloves of garlic to the pan. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
  4. 4. Add 1 bay leaf, 1 whole clove, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, and 2 chopped tomatoes or 400 g of tomato puree to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
  6. 6. Remove the bay leaf and whole clove before serving. Serve the sauce hot over your choice of pasta or as a base for other dishes.
