Ingredients
- 25 g Parsley
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 100 g Celery Stalk
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 2 ltr Figaro Extra Light Olive Oil
- 1 pack (50 g) On1Y Clove Whole. Laung-Lavang Sabut Khade Masale
- 200 g Hommade Tomato Puree
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 50 g Black Pepper
- 50 g Zoff Premium Indian Bay Leaf
Instructions
- 1. Dice 1 green pepper, 1 onion, and 2 stalks of celery into small pieces.
- 2. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- 3. Add the diced green pepper, onion, celery, and 2 minced cloves of garlic to the pan. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
- 4. Add 1 bay leaf, 1 whole clove, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, and 2 chopped tomatoes or 400 g of tomato puree to the pan. Stir well to combine.
- 5. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer gently for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.
- 6. Remove the bay leaf and whole clove before serving. Serve the sauce hot over your choice of pasta or as a base for other dishes.
