Ingredients
- 25 g Parsley
- 1 Kg Kissan Tomato Paste
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 500 ml Oleev Olivana Natural Olive Oil (Tin)
- 50 g + 30 g Snapin Oregano Seasoning + Chilli Flakes Combo
- 16 g Orika Oregano
- 1 kg Tata Salt (Vacuum Evaporated Iodised)
- 1 pack (100 g) Tata Sampann Pure Black Pepper Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 900 g - 1 kg Onion
Instructions
- 1. In a large saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
- 2. Add 12 ounces of tomato paste to the saucepan and stir well to combine.
- 3. Fill the empty tomato paste can with water 4-5 times and add the water to the saucepan, stirring to create a smooth mixture.
- 4. Add 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion, 1/8 cup of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano to the saucepan. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
- 5. Cover the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
- 6. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 7. Once the sauce has thickened and the flavors have melded, remove from heat and serve over your favorite pasta.
