  • 250 g Carrot
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • - Besan
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 50G Green Chilies
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine besan, whole wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and yogurt. Gradually add enough water to form a smooth batter. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a kadhai on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to splutter. Add chopped green chilies, bell pepper, tomato, shredded cabbage, and grated carrot. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until vegetables soften.
  3. 3. Season the vegetables with coriander powder, garam masala, and a pinch of salt. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring the spices are well blended. Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Pour a ladleful of the chilla batter onto the pan, spreading it into a thin circle. Cook for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown, then repeat with remaining batter.
  5. 5. To assemble, place a chilla on a plate, spread a portion of the spiced vegetable filling in the center, and roll it tightly into a wrap. Serve warm.
