Ingredients
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 200 g Paneer
- 250 ml Fresh Cream
- - Toned Milk
- 100 g Jeera
- 200g Delight Nuts Dryfruit Whole Cashew 200g
- 100 Ml Govind Ghee
- 200 g Table Salt
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
Instructions
- 1. Heat 1 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add 1 bay leaf and 2-3 cloves for aroma.
- 2. Add 1/2 cup of basmati rice (pre-soaked for 20 minutes) and stir gently for 1 minute. Pour in 1 cup of water and add a pinch of salt. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is fluffy and cooked. Set aside.
- 3. In another pan, heat 1 tbsp of ghee. Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and pulpy.
- 4. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, and 1/2 tsp garam masala. Stir and sauté for 2 minutes.
- 5. Add 1/4 cup of cashew paste (made by blending 10-12 soaked cashews with 2 tbsp water) and 1/2 cup of milk. Mix well and simmer for 3-4 minutes to form a creamy gravy.
- 6. Add 200g of paneer cubes to the gravy and gently mix to coat. Add salt to taste and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 7. Garnish the Shahi Paneer with 1 tbsp of fresh cream and 1 tbsp of chopped coriander leaves.
- 8. Serve the Shahi Paneer hot with the Jeera Rice.
