Ingredients
- 200g Swad Vermicelli Mix 200g
- 100 Ml Gowardhan Ghee
- - Tata Sampann 100% Pure Premium Cashews Whole Premium Quality Kaju Rich In Protein, Magnesium, And Phosphorus
- 1 l Homogenised Toned Milk
- Loose Cardamom
- 500G Madhur Sugar
- Pcs Saffron
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add 1 cup of vermicelli (seviyan) and roast on medium heat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- 2. In the same pan, add 4 cups of milk and bring it to a boil on medium heat.
- 3. Add the roasted vermicelli to the boiling milk and cook for 5-7 minutes until the vermicelli softens.
- 4. Stir in 1/2 cup of sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely.
- 5. Add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and 10-12 chopped cashews. Mix well.
- 6. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the payasam thickens slightly.
- 7. Remove from heat and garnish with 1 tsp of ghee and a few saffron strands (optional). Serve warm or chilled.
