Ingredients
- 500 g Onion
- 250 g Carrot
- 100 g Salt
- 200 g Dahi
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- - Besan
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Red Chili Powder
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- 2. Add chopped onion, tomato, grated carrot, green chili, cumin seeds, and coriander leaves to the dry mixture. Mix to combine.
- 3. Gradually add yogurt and water, whisking until the batter is smooth and lump-free. The consistency should be slightly thick but pourable.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
- 6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges turn golden, then flip and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
- 7. Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
- 8. Serve the hot chillas with green chutney or yogurt and enjoy.
