Ingredients

  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 g Dahi
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • - Besan
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Red Chili Powder
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine gram flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  2. 2. Add chopped onion, tomato, grated carrot, green chili, cumin seeds, and coriander leaves to the dry mixture. Mix to combine.
  3. 3. Gradually add yogurt and water, whisking until the batter is smooth and lump-free. The consistency should be slightly thick but pourable.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  5. 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
  6. 6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges turn golden, then flip and cook the other side for another 2 minutes.
  7. 7. Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the pan as needed.
  8. 8. Serve the hot chillas with green chutney or yogurt and enjoy.
