Ingredients
- 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
- 250 g Organically Grown Green Capsicum
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 870G & Mustard Oil 1L Pouch
- 525 g Veeba Herby Tomato Pizza & Pasta Sauce
- 1 kg Whole Farm Brown Sugar
- 1 kg Tata Plus Iron Health, Double Fortified Salt
- 2 x 170 ml Masterchow White Vinegar - Pack Of 2
- 290ml Lea And Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
- 1. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 diced onion and 1 diced green pepper, and sauté until softened, about 4-5 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- 2. Transfer the sautéed onion and green pepper to a crock-pot. Add 8 oz tomato sauce, 3 tbsp brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tbsp vinegar, and 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
- 3. Stir the ingredients in the crock-pot to combine evenly.
- 4. Cover the crock-pot and cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, until the flavors are well blended.
- 5. Serve the sauce over cooked rice for a complete and delicious dinner.
