Ingredients

  • 100g Lotus Phool Makhana 100 G
  • 200 ml Ghee
  • 100G California Almond (100g)
  • 100 g Kaju Tukda
  • 100g Good Life Yellow Kishmish 100 G
  • 30 g Pumpkin Seeds
  • 100 g Sunflower Seeds Plain
  • 100 g Coconut Powder (Desicated)
  • 20 g Cardamom Powder
  • 500 g Jaggery Powder
  • 100 g Til

Instructions

  1. 1. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a large pan on medium heat and roast the makhana for 8-10 minutes, stirring continuously, until they are crisp and golden. Remove and set aside.
  2. 2. In the same pan, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of ghee and lightly roast the almonds, cashews, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds for 2-3 minutes until aromatic. Add raisins and stir for another minute. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. 3. In a small pot, melt the grated jaggery on low heat until it turns into a smooth syrup. Add cardamom powder and stir well. Be careful not to overheat to avoid crystallization.
  4. 4. Quickly pour the jaggery syrup over the roasted makhana and nuts mixture. Add the dried coconut flakes and mix thoroughly to coat everything evenly.
  5. 5. Transfer the mixture to a plate or tray and let it cool for 10-15 minutes. Once cooled, break apart any clumps and serve in small bowls as a dessert or snack.
