Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Capsicum Green
  • 1 kg Potato
  • 1 pc (approx. 500 g to 800 g) Cabbage
  • 1 head Cauliflower
  • 100 g Tawa Pav Bhaji Masala
  • - Butter
  • 100 g Lemon
  • 300 g Brown Bread Ladi Pav
  • 200 g Table Salt
  • 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • - Red Chilli Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the potatoes and cauliflower until they are soft and mash them together in a large bowl.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of soyabean oil in a large pan and add 2 finely chopped onions. Sauté until they become translucent.
  3. 3. Add 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste to the onions and cook for another minute until the raw smell goes away.
  4. 4. Dice the capsicum and cabbage, then add them to the pan. Cook until the vegetables are softened.
  5. 5. Add chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they become soft and start releasing their juices.
  6. 6. Mix in 2 teaspoons of red chili powder and 3 tablespoons of tawa pav bhaji masala. Stir the spices into the vegetables.
  7. 7. Add a cup of frozen green peas to the mixture and stir to combine.
  8. 8. Incorporate the mashed potatoes and cauliflower into the pan. Mix everything together thoroughly.
  9. 9. Add a piece of butter to the mixture, stirring continuously until it's well combined. Season with salt to taste.
  10. 10. Slice the pav (bread) in half and toast them on a griddle with a generous amount of butter until golden and crisp.
  11. 11. Serve the hot bhaji garnished with a dollop of butter alongside the toasted pav.
