Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- 1 kg Potato
- 200 g Paneer
- 400 ml Coconut Cream
- 400g Baby Roma Tomatoes
- 100 G Cashews / Kaju 100 G
- 500 ml Groundnut Oil
- 200 g Table Salt
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 100 g Cornflour
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 50G Green Chilies
- 200 g Cream
Instructions
- 1. Grate the fresh paneer and boil the potatoes until soft. Mash them together in a bowl.
- 2. Add a pinch of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, 2 tablespoons of corn flour, a handful of cashews (chopped), and a few raisins to the mashed mixture. Mix well and form small balls (koftas).
- 3. Heat the groundnut oil in a pan over medium heat and deep-fry the koftas until they are golden brown. Set them aside on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 4. In another pan, heat 2 tablespoons of groundnut oil. Add cumin seeds and fry until they start to splutter.
- 5. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until transparent. Stir in the ginger garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- 6. Puree the tomatoes and add them to the pan. Cook until the oil separates from the mixture.
- 7. Mix in 1 teaspoon each of chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala. Season with salt to taste.
- 8. Pour in the coconut cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- 9. Gently add the koftas to the sauce and let them soak for a few minutes.
- 10. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
