- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Chicken Whole
- - Fresh Cream
- 100 g Almonds
- 100g Greek Yogurt
- 200 g Table Salt
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 1 Gms Kashmiri Mongra Saffron
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. Soak a handful of almonds in warm water for 15 minutes, then peel and grind them into a fine paste.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of refined soybean oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- 3. Add 500g of thinly sliced onions to the pan and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Stir in 25g of ginger garlic paste and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 5. Add 500g of whole chicken, cut into pieces, and cook until the chicken turns white on the outside.
- 6. Season the chicken with 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, and 1 teaspoon of garam masala.
- 7. Mix in the almond paste and 90g French yogurt, stirring continuously to combine all the ingredients.
- 8. Add salt to taste and a pinch of saffron strands for aroma and flavor.
- 9. Pour in 200ml of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Then, reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20 minutes or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- 10. Stir in fresh cream according to taste to enhance the richness of the gravy.
- 11. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
