Ingredients

  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 500 g Onion
  • 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
  • - Fresh Cream
  • 100 g Pasteurised Butter
  • - Chicken Breast
  • 500 g Curd
  • 250 ml Olive Oil
  • 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 50g Everest Garam Masala
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 10G Salt
  • 500 ml Water

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and marinate them with 2 tablespoons of curd, 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, and a pinch of salt. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are lightly browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
  3. 3. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil, if needed, and sauté 500g of finely chopped onions until they turn golden brown.
  4. 4. Add 500g of chopped tomatoes to the onions and cook until the tomatoes are soft and pulpy. Use a spoon or a masher to help break them down.
  5. 5. Stir in 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, and 1 teaspoon of garam masala. Cook for a few minutes until the spices are well incorporated.
  6. 6. Reduce the heat and add 100ml of fresh cream, stirring continuously. Once well mixed, return the cooked chicken to the pan.
  7. 7. Add 100g of butter and mix until it melts into the sauce, creating a rich and creamy consistency.
  8. 8. Garnish the Butter Chicken with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
