Ingredients
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- - Fresh Cream
- 100 g Pasteurised Butter
- - Chicken Breast
- 500 g Curd
- 250 ml Olive Oil
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 10G Salt
- 500 ml Water
Instructions
- 1. Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and marinate them with 2 tablespoons of curd, 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder, and a pinch of salt. Let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are lightly browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- 3. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil, if needed, and sauté 500g of finely chopped onions until they turn golden brown.
- 4. Add 500g of chopped tomatoes to the onions and cook until the tomatoes are soft and pulpy. Use a spoon or a masher to help break them down.
- 5. Stir in 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, and 1 teaspoon of garam masala. Cook for a few minutes until the spices are well incorporated.
- 6. Reduce the heat and add 100ml of fresh cream, stirring continuously. Once well mixed, return the cooked chicken to the pan.
- 7. Add 100g of butter and mix until it melts into the sauce, creating a rich and creamy consistency.
- 8. Garnish the Butter Chicken with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
