- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 G Arbi (500Gm)
- 50G Green Chilies
- 200 g Table Salt
- 100 g Amchur Powder
- 100 g Red Mustard Seeds
- 50g Everest Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- - Fenugreek Seeds
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
- 50 g Fennel Seed
Instructions
- 1. Wash and peel the arbi (colocasia roots) thoroughly, then cut them into small cubes.
- 2. Boil the arbi cubes in salted water until they are tender. Drain and set them aside.
- 3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of mustard seeds, allowing them to splutter.
- 4. Add 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- 5. Stir in 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and 1 teaspoon of red chili powder for a few seconds.
- 6. Add the boiled arbi cubes to the pan, mixing them well with the spices.
- 7. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of coriander powder and 1 teaspoon of garam masala over the mixture.
- 8. Add 1 teaspoon of amchur powder for the tangy flavor, mixing everything thoroughly.
- 9. Season with salt according to taste and cook the mixture on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 10. Garnish the cooked Achari Arbi with chopped coriander leaves and a few fennel seeds, then serve hot.
