Ingredients

  • 100 g Sambar Onion Peeled
  • 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
  • 1 pc (50 g) On1Y Pepper Grinder
  • 500 ml Conscious Food Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
  • 1 kg Akar Powder Salt
  • 100 g X 3 Mtr Turmeric Powder | Arisina Pudi Combo
  • 50 g Sakthi Curry Powder
  • 1 pack (25 g) Snapin Nutmeg Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a skillet, melt the coconut oil over medium heat.
  3. 3. Add the chopped onion and rice to the skillet. Cook and stir until the rice turns golden and the onion becomes tender, about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Stir in the turmeric, curry powder, nutmeg powder, salt, and pepper, ensuring the rice is evenly coated with the spices.
  5. 5. Transfer the rice mixture to an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish.
  6. 6. Heat the vegetable broth in a saucepan until it begins to boil, then pour it over the rice mixture in the casserole dish.
  7. 7. Cover the casserole dish tightly with a lid or aluminum foil.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
